Having practiced exclusively in property law for more than 15 years, Chris has vast industry expertise in the acquisition, disposal and development of property for residential, commercial, industrial, retail, and mixed-use purposes.

Chris also has extensive experience in all forms of leasing, acting for both landlords and tenants in most Australian states across all asset classes. 

Chris’ clients include developers, landlords of large commercial, retail and industrial portfolios, property trusts, publicly listed companies, statutory authorities, and other private clients across Australia having real estate interests in Queensland.

Chris’ advisory work is focused on identifying and securing the most commercial, direct and cost-effective outcome, irrespective of the complexity of the matter. His personal involvement in the development of commercial and residential property better informs his professional understanding of his clients and their needs.

Sarm Jamieson

director

Sarm has extensive experience in all aspects of property law, with a specialty in the acquisition, development, leasing and disposal of commercial, retail and industrial property.

Sarm has acted in the acquisition, leasing and disposal of some of Queensland’s most significant retail, industrial and commercial assets, and the leasing of all asset types down the eastern seaboard for tenants (private and institutional).

His clients include developers, listed and unlisted corporations, some of Queensland’s largest private companies, landlords, tenants and local and foreign property investors.

Sarm’s focus is to provide a commercial approach to all transactions, and to deliver services always in a timely and cost-effective manner. This focus is enabled due to his specialised expertise together with experience gained from his personal property undertakings and strong family history in the property industry.

Trent Akhurst

director

Trent has a reputation for facilitating transactions with a focus on providing frank and targeted advice, ensuring commercial and practical results. He understands the importance of timing and ensuring all stakeholders achieve their desired outcomes.

He has extensive experience in commercial property and development law across a wide range of asset classes including CBD office buildings, retail shopping centres and large scale industrial facilities.  Trent also assists developers on all aspects of the development process from initial site acquisition and construction, through to the leasing and disposal of the end product. 

Trent’s clients include residential and commercial developers, property fund managers, family offices, tenant representatives, as well as property trusts and private financiers.
